After 13 wonderful years we decided to no longer hold the bowling event. We've listened to our fans, volunteers and actors who have all agreed having all the events at one Venue is much easier on a financial, logistical and timely basis. No worries - Jerry verDorn and Elizabeth Keifer-Convertino are a very big part of this weekend with their just now announced BLOSS BRUNCH event!
About Us
Daytime Stars and Strikes is a charity event established by a dedicated group of volunteers with Daytime Emmy Winner actor Jerry verDorn and Elizabeth Keifer-Convertino (Ross/Blake on Guiding Light) to raise awareness and funds for Autism. In 2004 we started with an afternoon of bowling with actors from our daytime soaps in New York City, volunteers and fans from all over the globe. The individuals (actors and event crew) who put these events together are strictly volunteers. Every dollar sponsored, donated, raffled, auctioned goes to The Autism Society. In 2016, the volunteers branched out and created two additional events, all for Autism. The 2017 weekend is a further expanded extravaganza: Karaoke, Meet and Greets, Autograph Sessions, Photo Sessions, and a good old fashioned BBQ. Come join us over Columbus Day Weekend 2017. Purchase a ticket, sponsor a table, donate in someone's honor. Help us put the pieces of the puzzle together for research, community services, life skills and successful transitions from childhood to adulthood. The Autism Society is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Federal tax ID number is 52-1020149. |
